EXPERIENCE

• 1997 Set up TL Jones Parts (Shanghai) Limited;
• 2005 Set up TL Jones India Pvt Limited;
• 2005 Set up Chongqing branch office in China;
• 2007 Set up Tokyo branch office; Since 2000, have spent 100 days per year in China working with management there on their manufacturing, distribution and sales operation;
• Intimate knowledge of Chinese, Indian and Japanese business law and practice;
• Deep knowledge of the theory and practice of international transfer pricing rules;
• Thorough knowledge of international trading law and practice;
• Long-standing practical knowledge of foreign exchange management;
• As Finance Director of the Indian and Chinese companies, I have dealt with all aspects of administering an overseas company – creation and implementation of business plans; incorporations/restructuring/liquidations; hiring/firing; installation of IT systems; taxation; investigations by government departments; team building; cultural differences in problem solving approaches;
• Built up an extensive and loyal network of friends and colleagues throughout Asia region.

My driving force is a restless, creative imagination which fires an enthusiasm for new ideas.
